We are most appreciative of all our guests and look forward to the start of our 16th season in March. The last 15 years have gone by so quickly, and have left us with many warm memories. It has been such a joy sharing with old friends and making new ones. Quite a few reservations have already been made for this year, so it would be good to make early plans and get reservations in place as soon as possible.
Wintertime has allowed us to catch up on chores around the house, spend time with friends and get some sleep-in time. I’ve been tryng out new recipes, and making sure to keep only the really good ones. You can find all our recipes on the Food and Recipes page on our website at Food & Recipes. Please let me know if you have any questions about any of the recipes, or about what items can be substituted for any of the ingredients. We always have to remember to use generally-accepted ingredients for our guests, yet we are flexible and are open to any dietary restrictions that are needed.
The wineries and breweries are all going strong, as well as the Watkins Glen Race Track. The Pasta & Wine Weekend starts on March 22nd., and August 14th. will see the return of NASCAR. On the last Saturday in April, the Windmill opens for its 34th. season, and is available each Saturday until September 26th. This year, in addition to the 3 major holidays, the Windmill will be open on Columbus Day and the day after Thanksgiving! And we can’t forget Watkins Glen State Park, the Corning Glass Museum and the Glenn Curtiss Museum of Aviation. More information is available on our Attractions Page.
We have a new recipe for Breakfast Potatoes that you will enjoy. You can find the recipe on our website at Breakfast Potato Recipe.
Thanks so much! We hoping to get to see you in 2020!
